In life we encounter many causes, some
small and some great, all of which need somebody to fight for them. As someone
who has used wheelchair for most of his life, the cause of disability awareness
and civil rights for people with disabilities is near and dear to my heart. Like
many others, I see myself as a person who happens to have a disability and not as
a disabled person. Besides having a disability I also have a family, many
friends, a college education...all of which contribute to the person that I am
today but none of them defining me totally by themselves.
